What inspires me ?
Growing up, my mother was a physical therapist so my interest in the human form was peaked at a young age. After cramming every art class I possibly could into my high school education, I went to college to study illustration and biology. I had a loose plan to marry the two interests into one career. So once I graduated, I packed up my life and moved to Scotland where I got my masters in Medical Art. Along the way I gleaned skills not only in graphic design endeavors, but in digital art which has been extremely key in all the independent projects and commissions I've had the pleasure of completing over the past 4 or 5 years.
I am a naturally independent person, but I really enjoy and jump at any opportunity to collaborate with other creative minds, such as writers, anatomists, computer scientists, start-up founders, photographers, and of course other designers. I really love working with ProCreate and Adobe Illustrator. I love my Wacom tablet and feel very nostalgic about it. Traditional artwork is my pride and joy, but digital is the future and I'm fully running with it.
