One of my earlier attempts at digital painting. This scapula was done in photoshop.

This anatomical study of the head and neck was made in photoshop and illustrator with a real specimen for reference (defining features were altered as to protect the identity of the subject).


This surgical tool was created completely in illustrator, with the actual tool in front of me for reference.
Using a real femur as reference, this femur was was made with graphite.

The idea of this mock-pamphlet was to be quick and easy guide to type 1 diabetes. The target demographic was newly diagnosed kids and their parents.




This was a project described as a CT reconstruction. The skeleton and skin were scanned and the data was transferred to the 3D modeling software, ZBrush, where I then cleaned them up and filled in and smoothed out any remaining holes. Some parts of the face were also remodeled. The facial features, hair, and muscles were painted in digitally, using photoshop.

The scapula, clavicle, and humerus were each scanned using a spider scanner and then uploaded to ZBrush where I filled them in and modeled them using anatomy texts for accuracy. The muscles and joints were then molded and painted, all in ZBrush.

Here we hace a very unhealthy, polycystic kidney. It was modeled completely in ZBrush, using google images and anatomy texts as reference.


Created for a Microsoft Hololens AR (augmented reality) program, this is the lumbar and sacral parts of the spine and spinal cord, including the pelvic girdle. The project was for an AR depiction of a lumbar puncture procedure and was completed as a group project.

This skull was part of my final dissertation exploring the best way to explain medical issues in a court of law. My subject was a skull containing a gunshot wound.
This was the final animation from my dissertation, depicting a bullet being shot through a skull and a brain, and which parts of the brain were pierced.

This is a digital portrayal of Tandem's T Slim insulin pump. I used an actual pump as my reference and Adobe Illustrator to make the image.
